Do you remember the very first time you saw the ocean and remember a seaside holiday that has remained with you forever?  Maybe this has prompted you to return later in life with your own children to also experience the thrill of a seaside holiday just as you did? Many underprivileged children are also being given the wonderful opportunity to enjoy the sun and fresh air at the seaside, thanks to the Mercury Hibberdine Childrens Holiday Home in KZN.  The home has been funded through donations, street collections and fund raising projects.   Since the mid-nineties a major portion of the home’s income has also been generated by renting it to guests such as school, church and sports groups, when it is not occupied during holidays by the underprivileged children for whom it was built. The home is currently raising funds for much needed plumbing and energy and water saving initiatives which Hi-Tec Plumbing will be involved in and they need all of our help in order to raise the necessary funds to complete these projects and various others (full list available on request – please email us / the home).
